What is an Epidural Anesthesia?
An Epidural is an
injection into the space just
outside the dura or outer
membrane of your spinalcord.
It can be done only as
an injection or utilized as a
continuous drip so less drug
is used.
It feels like liquid ice
numbing your tummy, bottom
and legs when done appropriately.
It is never done
if the mother has had any bleeding.
